Verified ReviewerBurger King commercials
- - Burger King ads air on every SyFy break, which is very annoying.
- - The user wants the ads stopped due to repetition.
I'm trying to watch movies on the SyFy network, but I can't enjoy them because every commercial break they show a damn Burger King commercial. Do they have to be shown every commercial break?
It's absolutely ridiculous; the damn commercials don't have to be shown every commercial break. I have to mute my TV because I am damn sick and tired of hearing the damn commercials shown every commercial break. I want the stupid commercials stopped. There is no sense in repeating them over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
It makes no sense in doing that. Stop showing them every commercial break.
Preferred solution: Just stop showing the stupid Burger King commercial every commercial break

Verified ReviewerAs of tdy, the syfy channel sucks!
- - The channel is dominated by Potter content.
- - It cancels shows and replays movies.
- - Halloween is the only time they show anything worth watching.
Syfy should change the title of their channel to the Harry Potter network, because that's all they seem to show. They've cancelled really great shows and play and replay the same movies over and over.
I mean, what happened to the Child's Play series? Did Syfy just unceremoniously decide to cancel the series, just like they did with Defiance, etc?! The only time you get to watch anything worth anything is the month of October because of Halloween, and even then it's the same run of movies that they play every year. I liked this channel when it first launched.
SciFi, as it was called then, used to play movies I hadn't seen in years. Now it's nothing but repeats and Harry Potter. Doesn't this channel have anything else to play besides HP? Oh yeah: the Expendables?
I give this channel 1/2 star. That's a big drop from 4 stars in my book.
- Horror movies they used to show & great series
- Repetition
Preferred solution: I would love it if they could go back to their old format.
User's recommendation: If your a big fan of Harry Potter, then this is a channel for you. As for me: enough is enough.
I usually don’t comment on tv station programming, but I agree with you. Syfy was way better with their original series and movie choices 10 to 15 years ago.
The HP movies are all currently available on Hulu/Max and also Peacock streaming. These movies were not made to be seen on broadcast/cable with ads.

Boring and repetitive
- - The channel is always playing Harry Potter content.
- - They want to rename it The Harry Potter Channel because of the repetition.
I dont know why this channel is even still on the air! They should rebrand their name again and call it The *** Channel since that is just about all they play. Over & Over & Over & Over & Over & Over Again!!!
User's recommendation: Do Not Watch This Channel

Wrong number
Remove the phone number. It is wrong.
This is not the phone number for the Syfy channel. It is the number for Sovereign Media, who once published Sci Fi magazine, which was unrelated to the channel.
User's recommendation: There is no direct phone number for the SyFy channel.

Let the world know syfy sucks
Absolute worst network there is for the number of ads per movie. They have some good stuff ruined by the ads every 7-10 minutes.
User's recommendation: Quit watching
All week long. Nothing but Harry Potter movies! Absolutely sick of this stupid station!!!!!

Repetitive Programing
- - Reviewer suggests renaming to the Harry Potter Channel.
- - Schedules 31 hours of Harry Potter in 48 hours.
- - Same four movies are repeated 12 times.
They should just call it the Harry Potter Channel at this point

Verified ReviewerMovies
- - Dislikes frequent HP film airings.
- - All HP films shown for five straight days (Wed 27–Sun 31).
- - Wouldn't show them again if they owned the network.
Why is the stupid Harry Potter movies shown so much on this network, everytime there shown they show all the movies and for 3 days straight. Those movies are good and shouldn't be shown for that many days in a row, I absolutely hate those movies cause they have been shown to freaking much, they are absolutely stupid and make absolutely know sence to me.
From Wed the 27th to Sun the 31st there are showing all the Harry Potter movies for five straight days thats ridiculous, and they don't deserve to be shown that many days straight. People need to grow up and stop showing those stupid movies.
If I owned the SyFy network those movies would never be shown again. I'm tired of seeing them shown like this
Preferred solution: For the SyFy network to stop showing the Harry Potter movies so much
