Should be called "Syfy maybe sometimes"
The worst programming of any channel!! Plays the same thing ad - nauseam.
Please rename the channel as it's general programming now.
How many times can you run Harry Potter ? Unbelievable!
User's recommendation: Go elsewhere for sci-fi cause it ain't on the SyFy channel.

Objectionable Programming
Dear Sci Fi overseers, I want to voice a major complaint over your programming of "The Predator" (on Thur., Jan 2.) on the SciFi Channel in the early afternoon. My children, and myself, liked the "Predator series" but I wasn't expecting over 200 *** bombs throughout the movie laced with other profanities.
However, the "F" word was the obvious word of choice for this entire movie. I was embarrassed that I turned it on and exposed my family to it for as long as I did. I recorded it for myself to see just how much crude profanity was used. It should have been "X" or "R" rated!
Why show this when young people are still in front of the television? Why not later in the night for "adult entertainment?
Why can't this station edit out the foul language? When the Trump administration takes office, I will lobby the FCC to restrict this kind of senseless, profane movie unless the vulgar words are edited out!

I love to watch beautiful documentaries about our wonderful Country, but when you choose a person who deliberately goes on a stupid saturday night live, and basically mocks over half of the American public as racist MAGA people, I wont be watching it, or anything else the man does! I am so sick of those holier than thou *** who have made millions and millions from everyday people, who just want some entertainment without their *** politics! Maybe one day before they become insignificant, theyll figure it out!

The majority of America owns Twilight Zone, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
More variety would be nice and too much monotony gets annoying especially when it's every day.

Preferred solution: More movies and shows!!!! But not the same things over and over. Example of played too much: Harry Potter, Twilight Zone and Lord of the Rings. The majority of America owns those on DVD.

I know you want to promo up coming shows but I hate your squeezing the credits so they cant be read. These people made the very product you enjoy, but you make them un identifiable.
Almost as if they never existed.
I worked thirty years at a major network, I know how important credits are. Sometimes its all we have left to let you know we were here.

It's terrible. I'm not getting the resolution that I need to watch Syfy movies that I wanted to look at on my JVC flat screen TV.
I'm having trouble trying to see the movies. I didn't have a problem last week, and now it's giving me a problem this week.

Movie repetition is not good. I do enjoy marathons, but you should probably learn to count and show movies in order.
Seems like every to there's a marathon, the order is scrambled. 0r they are showing one movie over and over.

Verified ReviewerI used to love sci-fi but I have Dish Satellite and on there on demand channels sci-fi used to promote several of the old TV movies that made the channel great.
Syfy recently removed over a dozen of my favorite movies from Dish On Demand menus. Especially for those of us who have been Syfy fans forever, that really sucks!
Preferred solution: I would look for sci-fi to put their old movies back on Dish channel on demand.

Terrible programming
Would be nice if the Syfy channel would show science fiction. This channel is a joke.
Seems that all is shown is Harry Potter every time I turn it on. Where are all the old science fiction movies and series that used to be available?
Its time you find real science fiction in order to call yourself Syfi. Very disappointed.

Advertising taking a quarter of the screen during show
I've got a good Idea. Just plaster advertising all over the screen during a show. We can pretend it's the old days of just radio.

Has not been good in 20 years. Used to be good until they started the moron wwf stuff, stupid face make up shows, and all other horrible crap like that. All it is now is half Harry Potter movies and half pure CRAP.

Way, way, way, way too many commercials and not enough interesting content.
I selected to watch a movie. When I tuned in, there was a commercial.
When that ended, another commercial and then another and another and another.
After FOURTEEN commercials I changed to another, more interesting option. I hope SYFY network goes broke!!!

Syfy Stop repeating the things over and over again and bring new movies&show and program for kids also they can put sports

Same with all the networks, raise prices cheapen quality and choice. Then along with that big networks buy out smaller ones and force those to air the big networks shows thus decreasing selection of shows even more. I wonder if the objective is to drive away as many viewers as possible from cable to their pay for streaming service.
So sick of the commercial channel
It should be called the commercial channel rather than the sci-fi channel. Its two minutes of movie and 30 minutes of commercials so sick

Time to change it from commercial to what it actually is telemarking. Telephone telemarking, Television telemarking. I can almost deal with the over long telemarking during commercial breaks what I cannot tolerate and since I pay to view should not have to tolerate is the telemarking placed on screen while actual show or movie is airing.

I agree with you 100%, I just sent them a complaint about them placing the AGT show telemarking ad. Of course like all the networks they put their telemarketing ads (any thing not specifically part of the show or movie) on screen during programming we PAY to view and ignore the complaints.
I've have written to many of them about this.
Most all networks do not know the meaning of the words courtesy or consideration and have zero respect for us their paying viewers. Only way to fix it would be bury them in complain emails and phone calls, non- stop by the thousands and when comes to Neilson ratings state no tv watched so networks lose advertising $$.
